Glad to meet you too! I'm curious as I can be, what are your "issues" with Portland? And where do you live? I'll go check out your journal later....I'm at work right now and can't really stay too long. Another INTJ...who'da thunk it. I'm actually borderline on all but the N vs S continuum. When I was younger I was an E but I've been moving steadily farther I. I'm moderately T and mildly J....and we could talk a lot about beliefs. Basically I believe NOTHING. I have a whole lot of theories which are based on whatever I know, and can be revised anytime I learn something new..... not easily categorized is a good way to be, I think. More later!
I live in the greater San Francisco Bay Area (actually, about halfway between SF and Sacramento). My issues with Portland are complex, but I will boil it down for you if I can: (1) I believe the weather there is fit only for fungi and lower life forms, most certainly not for humans (in other words, I HATE rain); and (2) in 2004, my now-husband then-boyfriend moved from the Bay Area to Portland for about a 2-year period, and the long distance thing was *extremely* difficult for me to deal with. Item number 2 has pretty much made me resent the hell out of the city of Portland. Not that its Portland's fault, mind you, but my emotional self doesn't know that. ;) Anyway, if you hang around my journal, you WILL see anti-Portland and anti-rain rants from time to time. I hope you won't take it personally. :)
How nice you and bodacia found each other through my journal. I am a conduit, a catalyst for change! See, good things happen when I post more often, and I feel better, too!
