Style vs. Practicality

My dog Daisy loves to eat fabric. She has chewed through 5 out of 7 of our quilts and comforters

Does bitter apple spray deter them at all? If it does, I'd soak the quilt in it!

It does and it doesn't. They used to chew the carpet in the bedroom too. When I bought a new one, I sprayed it with some hefty bitter apple. And when they chewed it, it made them violently ill. Both dogs vomited at least 2 times a day for 2 days. They were also listless. I completely blame the bitter apple for it. Now, they haven't touched the carpet since, and it's been 6 months... but... I worry.

Also, wouldn't that make the quilt stinky? lol
