Ah...
This one made me cry.
It was superbly done.

He never had a choice anymore than she did.
Both their glory and their tragedy.

Soooo gooooood.

Oh, the pain of this story is perfect. They both feel so shattered, but they show it in differing ways. Ziva lets herself really grieve, at long last, and Tony stays strong because he knows she needs his strength to get through it right now. But you see his pain in every instance of disbelief and self-doubt.

Without a doubt, my favorite piece of dialog: "This is home?" It can be taken, as written, as a sort of smirky remark...almost plaintive. But I see it as more of a question she's posing to herself. A question brimming with hope. And, when viewed in that light, that line can also serve as an impromptu theme of the entire piece.

Thank you so much for this. Brilliant, as always. Much love and respect.

Ugh NCIS gives me little to no feels these days, but you-- you never fail to make me want to curl up in fetal position and sob endlessly. What is this magic power you possess? Can you not? My heart cannot take it. (And by this obviously I mean more more more ( ... )

First things first: LOVE. This was amazing.

Then her lips parted, and very quietly, almost casually, she shocked the fuck out of him when she whispered, "Yes."

Haha, yes. I absolutely loved this line.

I'm not sure you intended this but the knuckles bleeding and the sink, how very Lady Macbeth of you. I loved the symbolism of the bleeding not stopping, as she can't wash the blood off her hands. Thank you for that, it was brilliant.

Actually this whole thing was pretty brilliant. I would have liked to have seen Ziva more affected by the ending of Revenge, but it didn't happen like that. This is just what that episode needed, maybe a little more gritty and painful than the show ever gets but sometimes it needs to go there.

My god woman. I can't even begin to write a review that would do that story justice. It really does feel like it was a missing moment from the show. I do love how Tony huffed against Gibbs when he told him to give her space. It was hard to see her so broken and showing it. It was beautiful to see her let him in for 1 night. It was heartbreaking to see Tony's inner thoughts seeing his partner (in work and in life) so very broken. Tears literally brimmed reading this story. Thank you Thank you.
