Well, what can I say? I liked the episode, because I found a little bit of everything in it. I felt bad for McGee for feeling "left out" from the supposed "man day". He's always behind the computer - put McGee running around with a gun more often! About Dr. Ryan, I didn't like her either at first sight. She seemed awkward with her talk, her eyes and that hair...gosh...but now, I found myself smiling with her scenes, why? Because I saw Gibbs smiling. And I was shocked with that kiss at the end, but he seemed upset with her leaving early. He enjoys her company. And for as long as she keeps him happy, I'm happy. Perhaps one day we'll see him on a boat, on actual sea...And as for our favorite couple...I simply hate when their conversations end like that, it's frustrating, because the writers are building up to something and I'm afraid my juvenile fantasies will be crushed if they don't write the perfect relation for those two, because..."it is what it is"…and we all see it. PS: Sean Austin was cute, I wanted to see more of him...GOONIES

Excellent review as always. And I love the screen caps capturing their facial expressions. I didn't realize that the music playing in the background during the end scene was the same as during the end scene in Housekeeping! I do however like Dr. Ryan alot.
Like you, I wasn't crazy about the episode overall but I enjoyed the T/Z scene at the end. But even in that scene, I thought the writing was clunky. There was a little too much trying-too-hard-to-be-cute with the dialogue throughout the episode.
Great review, as always. I'm with you on the case: good and solid, but ultimately not the most interesting or exciting one we've had. I like your theory on why Ziva was so upset about being left in the dark; past bad experiences would explain it. In any case, I have to admit the "I will unleash crazy on him" comment made me giggle. A lot. And like you, I can totally see them doing this when they're married. :D I think your analysis of the Tony/Ziva scene at the end is spot on. They're so close now, I can practically taste it...
