Just a few days ago, Emma was playing with my dad-in-law's stethoscope. He proudly said, "Emma, when you grow up I think you want to be a doctor!" Both he and mum-in-law then went on to ask Emma if she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up.

We thought it was really unusual for someone her age to say that. We are really proud of her, yet it's kinda scary at the same time...imagine her as a teen!

Hmm. The funny thing is that when she's playing with her friends, she's more of a follower. But then again, it could be that the other kids are mostly older than her.
