So here I am on my dining room floor hanging out with my Mom and my cat Oscar. Another year is put behind me, and I'd have to say I'm glad for it. 2005, although good, is also peppered with some things I'd rather not remember. So I say bring on 2006, let's have some neew beginnings and not worry so much about years past.

So this year has started. I'm officially a second year university student. So far, things have been going great, a few bumps, but nothing that won't work itself out in the wash. God is amazing, that's really all there is to it.

Hello Everyone! It is 3 minutes to 5am here in Digby, and I am wide awake, haven't been able to sleep since about 2:30. Nice. It's probably because I have a lot on my mind, with getting everything ready for school and such. I am excited though, I leave Sunday for res life training starting on monday. I'm still alive! I've been so busy lately, this month has totally flown by. The visit with Dave on the July 1st weekend went very well. Everyone in my immeadiate family seems to like him quite a bit and all approve. Not that it would matter that much to me, but it's nice to have their support ( Read more... )

So, it's been a crazy few weeks. I've been working quite a bit, and have gotten over the worst part of a case of shingles. I'm feeling much better thanks to all the drugs that my doc put me on....I mean, gee whiz for a person who passes out after taking half a tylenol, ingesting 500mg pills three times a day made me feel pretty darn good most of ( Read more... )

After 2.5 weeks of nothing but rain, we finally have some bright sunny weather here in South West NS. Nothing much new though, just been working a lot, which is good, it keeps me busy and passes the time. Only 28 more days (thats 4 weeks) until Dave comes to visit! I can't wait. Happy Sunday morning! It is currently raining in Digby. It rained last night too, and I hear it will continue to rain for the rest of the long weekend, maybe even up until Tuesday.
