I'd love to be able to install something like this SNES bartop cabinet whenever we buy a house, but J does most of the cooking and that might get to be too much of a distraction. With something like that around I might actually have to cook.

You know what? *thats* what was should make the home server we've been tossing around ideas for. We've got the LCD and I actually feel confident enough in my wood working to make a cabinet for it.

I'd make it a bit different though. Go for 6x buttons so it could do any console... Maybe even make 3 more joysticks that could hook up via USB. Plus it could do PC games to have an extra station for lan party. Use the wood printer at the shop to do crazy vector art. Waterproofing.

Maybe give the case a convertable lid?
