I admit that's my secret hope in any abuse case. The idea that even if the victim won't leave, letting her know she CAN may make every difference in her children's lives. I grew up with domestic abuse in the household, and while my story took a very unusual turn and ended up with the fairytale ending every abuse victim thinks can happen - which is why I don't tell them about about - my mother still made sure every one of us girls would never, ever put up with it. This is brilliant! I absolutely love their characterizations. They absolutely feel like the offspring of Wally and Linda. And their sibling-ness was so great.

Heeee! I'm so glad they worked out. It's difficult turning kids into adults, particularly when they're a bit on the bratty side to begin with. (I won't lie, I love it.)

But I figure if Wally can be a functioning adult, with Linda's help, his kids can be, too.

You are all kinds of fantastic wonderfulness! Thank you so much. I'm psyched you enjoyed it. I had to rewrite and edit it so many times, I had no idea if what I ended up with was even coherent anymore. XD

This was lovely! I really enjoyed the siblings' relationship, and I like how you handled the complicated situation, how frustrating it is for capes and law enforcement when their hands are tied, when justice fails, how hard it is not to cross a line. Cute ending, all around awesome!
