I have been slowly doing some writing meta, per questions sent to me via Twitter and tumblr. I adore talking about the process of writing and I'm nowhere near finished with all the questions I received, but have some thoughts on five different writing topics!

Memorial Day weekend is going well thus far. The city is gloriously hot and I have spent many an hour reading by the river. Just call me queen of self-indulgence, 'cause here comes a whole lot of navel-gazing about what I wrote in 2010. Definitely check out my plans for 2011 at the end, because I'm a whole lot better about actually writing things when I know there's an audience. :D

Wot I did with my Halloween weekend:
* Ran around dressed as Harley Quinn with a lovely Poison Ivy companion (whee fun)
* Went to see Florence + the Machine (EPIC. SO EPIC.)
* Drank caramel appletinis (delicious! so delicious!)

I have also committed to writing for 10 minutes every day in November, so LAY ALL YOUR LOVE PROMPTS ON ME. ( List o' fandoms. )

Here is a cookie from my eyaiverse fic in progress, which I fear may be a work in progress FOREVER. I am at ~6000 words and it is still a wreck of half-finished scenes. I kind of hate it right now, but I am given to understand every author of longer stuff reaches that point eventually.
