Radio here in Greensboro sucks. I say that because right now, the two poppiest stations have no competition. our main pop/rock/top 40 station, WKZL, is pretty much the only one of its kind. Ditto for our hip hop/R&B station, which used to have competition until it made an HFS switch and became latin on us. I mean, I guess it's comparable to radio ( Read more... )

Two points:

- One of the most maddening this to see is someone with a "Proud to be an American" bumper sticker next to one of the confederate flag. Don't they realize the contradiction in this?

- And I would have to agree about Gina although I think the hamster is asthmatic with arthritis.

There's always Internet radio! but I guess that's not helpful when you're in the car. Do you have an iPod yet?

Listening to the radio sucks, but I'm more concerned about the fact that if I need to advertise for a concert or event or something, my choices are that limited. For example, if I decide I'd rather not do business with one of the stations, I really don't have a choice if they are the only one that plays whatever type of music is being represented.
