I like. I can imagine Romana being fond of that regeneration physically as well as mentally.

I'm glad it worked, and you're absolutely right, she would have been fond of that mind as well as the body.

Thank you! I recently saw that episode for the first time and (like many fans, I'm sure) found it really odd that the regeneration was so casual.

This is very nice.

That was one thing about the Doctor: if you wanted to do something in private, you could be reasonably sure he'd be too distracted to bother you.

Yes, indeed. The Doctor's sheer obliviousness must make him a surprisingly relaxing person to be around. Who knows what the more dynamic Companiosn were up to while he was distracted.

Ha, so true. The old series left plenty to our imaginations. :)

It had presence and, truth be told, great hair.
It *so* did.

Also very true.

And a very nice explanation, thank you.

Thank you! I had what I suppose is the usual crisis when I finally saw that regeneration scene in context - it was so adorable but so *casual* and unexplained. (Not to mention the multiple bodies, but whatever.)

The multiple bodies was weird. Especially that she had control over her form - it made me feel bad for the Doctor.
