I watched the Nintendo presentation at E3 on Monday, and was pretty impressed with the things they mentioned they were coming out with.  Epic Mickey looks like it has great potential, and I'll definitely check that out.  I'm definitely excited about Donkey Kong Country coming back, along with Goldeneye 007.  Even Wii Party and the new Mario Sports ( Read more... )

I finished Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box tonight.  I'm still smiling from the ending.  I'm not usually the "tragic" romance type, but dang, that was sweet.  Toward the second half of the story if I couldn't solve the puzzle within a few seconds I went looking for cheats because it was getting in the way of the freaking story! I guess that depends on what you consider old-school.  The first game I remember getting almost obsessive over was Road Blasters.  It was in the arcade area of the bowling alley when I was little.  Then my parents bought me a copy on our NES and I loved being able to play at home.
