I'm sorry, I tried, but I've reached my limit for now. I love you, but I just need a break for a little bit.

I'm going to LA for a few days, this weekend it's supposed to be sunny and about 80 there.

Maybe when I come back things will be better between us. I hope so.

Last night:

Met Steve, Betsy, and Nic at R Palate for after-work drinks and nosh. Three bacon-wrapped offerings on the happy hour menu. My review is here.
Started First Thursday visiting Sequential Art Gallery for Shell's show, wandered the Pearl for a while, got ice cream, went home.
Tonight:

Friday:

• Poker: won first tournament and drank too much whiskey to have much interest in the second

Saturday:

• Nicole and I met a law school buddy and his wife who are visiting his folks in Albany and took them to Gravy for breakfast
  
• Had a bunch of yard work done on the house
  
• Living room piggy-back ride
