My Movie Phobias, or childhood movies that were not supposed to be scary, but terrified me:
1) Milo and Otis. Something about them being lost and having to go through horrendous ordeals. I didn't do well as a child, with things/people/animals being lost. Just didn't. It seemed endless to me - I don't actually remember the ending, because all I can remember is the horribleness seeming like it would never stop.

Just watched Community, the show premiering after The Office; there was a throwaway line of "Nobody puts Baby in the corner." The immediate reaction from everyone in the room was "Too soon! Too soon!"

Itsy little nagging things that shouldn't matter but make me cringe . . .
Is it just me, or are the words "yea," "yeah," and "yay" not two or three separate things? I know that in the long run it doesn't really matter, but sometimes it irks me when they get confused. Also, "ahhhh" and "awwwww" have entirely different connotations ( Read more... ) -

Fox Sighting!
I saw a fox running across the soccer field by by house today, which is weird, as we are smack dab in the middle of the city, but I guess it just holds testament to the adaptability of animals.
