Also when you notice your home is on fire, you totally can go "ah, yep, looks like a 10-minute-er."

Someone on SF_D pointed out that if it's a small enough fire that you have 10 minutes, you should use the 10 minutes to put the fire out.

Well, we do have at least two strategically-placed fire extinguishers in our apartment. They'd work for the small stuff, but some things, you need to leave to the professionals.
