So, I have managed to get my hands (finally!) on a copy of James Rollins' Deep Fathom. This is extremely good news, as I have every other book he's written (except the Indiana Jones one, but I saw the movie anyways). The Last Oracle, The Judas Strain, Black Order, Map of Bones, Sandstorm, Ice Hunt, Subterranean, Excavation and Amazonia. And I ( Read more... )

yay, metal dragons, books, james rollins, havemercy!, school work

sjahdjfgskahgs HAVEMERCY. Gah, I love that book. It's just dhfjjsdjh best first novel ever, although Jaida's already written quite a lot online, so she's quite refined. But it's very exciting that she got published and with SUCH AN AMAZING BOOK. It was definitely worth shelling out the cash for a hardcover copy. If I had waited... I can't even think about it. >.> It breaks me.

Congratulations on finding the book you wanted~

I've read Amazonia; pretty interesting, but I never really hunted down his other books. Well written, but I don't care much for books that straddle the line of sci-fi/plausibility. I prefer them far to either side of the line. Any of his other books fall like that?

Most of his books tend to walk the line. You can't really tell, unless you keep in mind that no matter how many facts he uses, it's just fiction. >.< I love them anyways.

I have all of them now, if you'd like to borrow any and see for yourself.
