Maybe I've just never waited tables, but it's sounding more and more like the fair majority of people in your area are cheap, inconsiderate bastards.

I've known plenty of people who waited tables and I know people can suck, but you're getting hit with suck after suck after suck and it makes me think it's geographic.

Well, it's true...people here are used to getting their food fast, and they still think 10% is a good tip, when minimum wage has gone up and server pay has not. People here are very cheap. If I lived in a city I'd be doing much better.

That's one of the reasons I gave up on waiting tables... I hate being subjected to the wrath of people for issues caused by the kitchen/bar that I technically have no control over. Even when you try to fix the problems you can't do enough for them...
