We've pretty much done nothing since returning from our East coast trip and it's been really nice for the most part. Oddly enough though, I'm actually sleepier now than I ever was on the road. I think it's the fact that we are bored a lot that is making me tired ( Read more... ) -

A few short things:
- Doug and I have hung out with this girl that goes to his school and her husband the past couple of nights. They are really awesome and we think we are going to be spending a lot of time with them. So that is really neat. Our own married friends. :-)

Spring Break!
I'm back at school after what felt like a really long, amazing week of Spring Break. Doug and I went to Joplin until Wednesday, then to Little Rock to visit my grandparents/aunt, uncle, and cousins, then to Memphis just for a day as crazy tourists, then to Sikeston for a couple of days to look around my hometown, then back to Columbia last night ( Read more... ) -

This weekend was a ton of fun. Doug, Nathan, and I met Tyson and Whitney in Joplin for the Superbowl. Friday night Nathan, Doug, and I ate dinner with my parents and then watched Prime, which I thought was a really good movie. After that we just kind of hung out until bedtime. Today feels strange. I woke up to an empty house from dreams that didn't make sense. It seems to be mocking me: weird dreams, headache, neck pains, fatigue. It's the seventh...and though I honestly thought that it would be just another day...and that the memories wouldn't matter, it's proving to be a little more difficult than I anticipated. This has been the most amazing weekend ever!
First Elton...now Phantom.
I just bought $25 Phantom of the Opera tickets for Doug, Nathan, and I in Chicago two days after we're seeing Wicked.
Now we just have to find a place to stay. haha!

OH MY GOSH!
I just saw Elton John from the front rowDoug and I helped work a concession stand on the ground level of the concert...so we got in for free. A couple hours before it started they were doing a sound check and needed someone who played the piano.
