15 strokes with the senior rattan cane is too severe for a first timer
i would say 10 strokes given at maximum strength would have him screaming .if
given on the bare it allows the dom to see just where the previous strokes have landed
2 or more on top of each other are likely to break the skin
the boy will be bruised afterwards for a while
i would definately not go above 12 but my recomendation from a person who has been caned many times in his adult life

12 would seem a little over the top for a first offence particularly on the bare arse.
I would think six or eight strokes would be more than enough.
I did manage to take 20 myself, but that was by agreement as part of a roleplay.
