Since you work there, would you mind answering a question for me? If someone wanted to speak to someone who worked there, would they then instead go in the tower part?
It's a magnificent building. And ETA that I meant to mention we were there a couple of years ago -- there is (or at least there was when we were there) a memorabilia shop inside the lobby, with lots of postcards and books and shirts and baseball caps that say "Chicago Tribune." They also had a ton of Chicago Cubs gear and very little White Sox stuff. The on-air broadcast studio for WGN Chicago was there too, glass-walled on one side so you could see it without having to enter the building.
Do you need any other, specific, photos? I'm going downtown this Wednesday and if I can find my camera I can take photos for you; the bus I take goes right past the building. OH NO AN EXCUSE TO WANDER AROUND AND TAKE PHOTOS GASP THE HORROR.
The window appears to be called Guardian Angel, by Tiffany. (I image searched "Tiffany window angel" until I found someone who had actually labelled their flickr photo, then searched "Tiffany window guardian angel" to confirm.) Amazing glass...
Thank you! I realize the lack of picture-finding now was my own mistake. For some reason I thought the tower and the Tribune building were two completely different buildings!
