Chapter 310: Kick
Roxanne: You look so beautiful, Shiloh.
Shiloh: I’m glad you think so, I feel huge.
Hawk: You are definitely beautiful.
*Shiloh blushes*
Shiloh: Oh… *squirms uncomfortably*
Hawk: Are you okay?
Shiloh: Fine, the baby is just kicking me.
Roxanne: Oh, can I…um…feel the baby kicking? If it’s too weird for you just say so…but I’m curious…
Shiloh: I don’t mind, give me your hand.
*Shiloh takes Roxanne’s hand and puts it on the right place*
Shiloh: Right there…just wait…
*The baby kicks again*
Roxanne: Oh, I felt it! How extraordinary…
Shiloh: I love it when the baby kicks, even if it is a little uncomfortable sometimes.
Wolfgang: Um…Shiloh?
Shiloh: Yes?
Wolfgang: Can I…uh…feel the baby kicking?
Shiloh: Of course! Come here.
Shiloh: Right…here… *she holds Wolfgang’s hand on the right place*
*The baby kicks*
Wolfgang: …
Shiloh: Did you feel that?
Wolfgang: Yes…I felt it.
Shiloh: And?
Wolfgang: I never imagined that baby could seem so…alive…before being born.
Shiloh: *smiles and nods* Yes, it’s amazing!
Hawk: Okay, it’s my turn now!
*They all laugh*
Roxanne: We should leave you alone…
Shiloh: Oh, don’t go!
Roxanne: Well, I want to be alone with my husband, too.
*Roxanne and Wolfgang say their goodbyes and leave Shiloh and Hawk alone. Wolfgang is quiet and thoughtful as they walk away*
Wolfgang: …
Roxanne: …
Roxanne: What are you thinking?
Wolfgang: I’m thinking about Hawk and Shiloh’s baby.
Roxanne: What about it?
Wolfgang: It just seemed…so real…when it kicked me. I didn’t expect that.
Roxanne: *sighs wistfully* I know…
Wolfgang: I know you want a baby, too.
Roxanne: I do, but I know you aren’t ready.
Wolfgang: Well, maybe I’m more ready now then I was before…
Roxanne: What are you saying?
Wolfgang: I’m saying I know how much it means to you and I want to make you happy. Maybe it’s not as scary as I thought. If you want to try then let’s try.
Roxanne: You meant it?
Wolfgang: Yes.
*Roxanne hugs Wolfgang*
Roxanne: *gushes* Thank you, Wolfgang!
Wolfgang: I want you to be happy. I love you.
Roxanne: I love you, too!

This is kind of a side chapter I stuck in between some other story lines. We are keeping up with Shiloh and Hawk (I made her belly bigger, although I don't think you can really tell) and her baby is due in a few months, May 1st. So expect baby stuff around then. As for Roxanne and Wolfgang, I needed to do this with them to set up some future events that won't play out until later, so just file the info you learn in this chapter for later reference. ;) In the next chapter we will see Taryn and Felix's first date... <3
I had a little time today to work on some sewing so I made a new dress, just in time for Valentine's Day, for my Lati yellow girls. Bailey is modeling it:
It's an A-line dress with mid length sleeves and a ruffle hem. One of my girls will probably wear it to the BJD meet I'm going to on Saturday since it's Valentine's Day themed. I'm going to try to make more new things but I'm not sure I'll have time so if I don't I'll have to make due with the clothes I already have, which is fine...I have a bunch of pink stuff. :P
Also, I bought Bailey a new wig to try out. It's a fur one in a similar color to the red one she already has. Depending on how it looks on her I may or may not make it her permanent wig, but I won't know until I try it out. I saw some other Lati yellows on Flickr in fur wigs and thought they looked so cute I wanted to try one out. Bailey's current wig doesn't always do what I want it to do so we'll see if the new fur one works out better. It should be here in a few weeks. :D
