Chapter 309: Sabrina's Education
Madison: Sabrina, I’m still concerned about how much time you are spending with Ronan.
Sabrina: We’ve been through this.
Madison: I know, but I can’t trust him and I worry about you.
Sabrina: I can take care of myself, you know that.
Madison: I know, but Ronan is a powerful sorcerer when he wants to be and you have no defense against him.
Sabrina: He has never once used magic in my presence. He respects me.
Madison: How can you be sure?
Sabrina: How can you be sure he doesn’t? It’s not like you’ve taken the time to find out.
Madison: True…
Sabrina: If I try to explain it to you, will you listen and try to understand?
Madison: Alright…
Sabrina: I know he treated you badly, even he acknowledges it.
Madison: He does?
Sabrina: Yes! And I didn’t like him much to begin with. I found him pompous, arrogant, and unfeeling. But…he’s not like that…I’ve spent a lot of time with him so I’m not ignorant. He’s a good man. He’s kind to me. I’ve told him things I’ve never told anyone, even you, and he’s never broken my confidence. I trust him more then any man I’ve ever known.
Madison: From you that is high praise.
Sabrina: Then please don’t bring it up again, you know how protective I can be about the people I care about the most…and I definitely count Ronan among those few people.
Madison: He makes you happy?
Sabrina: Very.
Madison: Then I won’t say anything more about it. If he has earned your respect and trust he must be everything you say he is and I have no choice but to believe you.
Sabrina: Thank you, Madison.
Later…
*Sabrina has left Madison and is walking alone*
Sabrina: I hope Madison really understands now…we’ll see, I guess…
Bo: Hello there.
Sabrina: Well, well, well…I haven’t seen you in…how long? I thought you got bored with me and left.
Bo: Not a chance…I’ve been watching you.
Sabrina: Of course you have.
Bo: I didn’t see any need to interfere.
Sabrina: And now?
Bo: Now I just wanted you to know I hadn’t forgotten about you.
Sabrina: Don’t you think it’s time to cut me loose? Please?
Bo: Well…
Sabrina: Come on, I don’t need a babysitter!
Bo: Relax! If you’d give me a chance to finish you’d know I was going to say that I think your “education” is over. You’ve done well.
Sabrina: You promise to leave me alone then?
Bo: *smiles* I promise…if you keep being good.
*Sabrina starts to walk away, Bo calls after her*
Bo: I hope you and Ronan will be very happy together!
*Bo turns to walk away*
Sabrina: Stop right there!
Bo: Yes?
Sabrina: You…you…you sent me to help Ronan…you KNEW what was going to happen, didn’t you?!?
Bo: Well…no, but I saw the potential so I hoped the two of you might, you know, hit it off.
Sabrina: I don’t get it.
Bo: Get what?
Sabrina: You said you weren’t going to help me get a man…but then you did!
Bo: Does this upset you?
Sabrina: Well…no.
Bo: *shrugs* Okay then.
*Bo turns to leave again*
Bo: It was nice meeting you Sabrina. I can honestly say you were the best and most rewarding “student” I’ve ever had.
Sabrina: …
Sabrina: …hey, Bo!
Bo: Yes?
Sabrina: Thank you. For everything.
Bo: *smiles* You are very welcome.
To be continued...
In case you weren't sure, Bo is teasing Sabrina terribly and enjoying every minute of it. :P (she meant what she said at teh end though, and about leaving her alone from now on...) However, even if Madison is unsure about Ronan, she has Bo's full support. <3
In other news, I'm going to another BJD meet on Saturday. Someone planned one that's about a five minute drive from my house...seriously, how can I say no to that? :P It's going to be Valentine's Day themed (right up my alley, heh) and people are bringing sweets and dressing up their dolls to fit the theme, etc. I'm going to dress my girls (Penelope, Bailey, and Piper) in pink and red...maybe even make a few new things. Then I've got some Valentine's Mini M&M's (they struck me as doll sized) to give out to anyone who wants them. I also thought about making little Valentine's that my dolls can give out, just something small, cute, and easy to make. What do you think? Maybe it's going overboard...does anyone have any other ideas that might be fun? I don't think it's going to be a huge meet, but I really don't know. I've been told a lot of Houston people never respond to the doll meet threads on DoA and then all show up at the meets making them huge. The last meet I went to was very well attended.
I sold Roxanne. Funny enough, she was the hardest doll to part with, yet I still don't regret it (her buyer was named Taryn...it's a sign I tell you!). I only have Lucas left now and he's actually the one I feel least bonded to...figures. I hope he'll sell soon. I'm looking at my shelves now and seeing them less full really does make me feel better so it's a good thing. I did take photos for one more chapter Roxanne will be in before I mailed her out (just like this chapter with Madison, I already mailed her out last week).
Here's a photo of Penelope I took this weekend...just because:
