Chapter 280: Little Brother
Taryn: I love this job!
Kiki: I’m so glad to hear it, you are doing a wonderful job so far…and it’s nice for me to have a little company around here.
Kiki: Soon I think you’ll be ready to manage the store on your own in the afternoons so I can run errands…and spend time with Sebastian. *blush*
Taryn: Of course you need to spend time with your man, you’re lucky to have a man. But do you think I’ll be ready?
Kiki: I have no doubts.
*Laszlo enters “The Sweet Shoppe”*
Taryn: Little brother! How did you find me here?
Laszlo: It was a lucky guess. How are you, little sister?
Taryn: I’m so happy to see you, Laszlo!
Laszlo: So this is where you work?
Taryn: Yeah, this is my new job, it’s great. Oh…this is my boss, Kiki. Kiki, this is my little brother, Laszlo.
Laszlo: Nice to meet you.
Kiki: Likewise…but if you are Taryn’s little brother, why did you call her little sister?
*Laszlo laughs*
Taryn: Laszlo is being silly. He’s my younger brother but he calls me little sister because I’m shorter. Pay no attention to him.
Kiki: Taryn, why don’t you go ahead and go home? It’s close to closing time anyway.
Taryn: Oh, but I should help…
Kiki: It’s okay, I’ll take care of it. Go spend some time with your brother, it sound like you haven’t seen each other in a while.
Taryn: We haven’t. Thank you, Kiki! I’ll see you tomorrow.
Outside…
Laszlo: Your boss seems nice.
Taryn: She is. Too bad she has a boyfriend or I’d try to set you up with her.
Laszlo: *laughs* Always looking out for me, huh, little sister?
Taryn: Someone has to.
Laszlo: *looks around* It’s great you work so close to where you live.
Taryn: This is a really nice place, I was lucky to find it.
Laszlo: I have some friends who live here.
Taryn: I haven’t met many people here yet, I’ve been too busy starting work, but everyone seems friendly.
Laszlo: Taryn…would you mind so much if I maybe moved here, too?
Taryn: You want to move here?
Laszlo: Well…like I said, I have friends here…
Laszlo: Also, it would be great to meet new people…maybe I can find a girl.
Taryn: *laughs* I’d love to see you find a nice girl, you deserve it.
Laszlo: And… *a little embarrassed* …you know, we could spend more time together if I lived her, too.
Taryn: Laszlo, I think it’s a great idea!
Laszlo: You do?
Taryn: Yes, I’d love to spend more time with you. I’ve missed you so much since I moved away. Now that I’m back we should be close…like we always were.
Laszlo: *relieved* I’m glad you like the idea. I’ll talk to my friends and see how soon I can move in.
Taryn: This will be great, Laszlo!

He's borrowing Trunk's pants (from my son's doll) so that he doesn't have to wear his jumpsuit all the time. :P

Not much to say about her except that I still think she's gorgeous. :D
