Because I'm unsure if scribble_myname is lovely, or just plain mean.
Lovely. Lovely. She truly is, I promise.

1. Go to page 77 of your current manuscript/work-in-progress (or page 7 if you don’t have 77).
2. Go to line 7.
3. Copy down the next 7 lines, sentences, or paragraphs, and post them as they’re written.
4. Tag 7 authors, and let them know.

Okay. So, I'm not ( Read more... )

OMG Find him again!? I'm cruel to ME. I have to now wait for this fic. :shakes fist at memer who tagged me: Who is lovely, I promise, but...

Both of these are awesome, but you can guess which one has me wishing it would be okay to beg for more.

Oh, yes. HIM. And I have absolutely no regrets about this teaser. You brought it on yourself. :)

And, on a completely unrelated note, I've been haunting the Divergent Nation website, keeping up to date on news about "Insurgent". In the process, I found some neat Divergent merchandise. Is it really awful that I'd consider buying a faction pendant for myself?

If it's awful, then I'm in the same boat. :shakes head and laughs:

And yeah, I totally take the blame. ... :thinks: It was worth it!

Ah, yes, but the question is what faction? I know I'm not Abnegation, I don't think I'm Amity, and I have a knee-jerk reaction against Erudite. Fairly sure I couldn't hack it as a Candor.

I'm leaning Dauntless.
Mainly because I can most certainly get on board with the idea that "courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear."
-Ambrose Redmoon
I figure that's the Dauntless ideal summed up right there.

Argh. If I didn't have a huge visa bill coming, I would totally buy one.

I need to thank you once more for your encouragement to pick the book up. I've done two re-reads, and I'm pondering one more before "Insurgent" comes out.
(TWENTY DAYS. I do not HAVE this kind of patience, dammit!)
You'll also be pleased to know that I've managed to foist the book on lots of people at work, and have gotten a fabulous response from returning customers. Yay!

*kowtows before the bunnies*

I know better than to argue with them at this point. Just as long as that red-eyed one that absolutely terrifies me doesn't make an appearance because it reduces me to a sobbing mess.

Excellent teases. Give me MORE! :)

(I'll post my stuff later tonight, assuming rehearsal and writing lesson plans leave me time to do so....)

Say please.
And then because I am an evil and capricious god, I will say no. :)

I look forward to it! I'm particularly interested in what you're doing with Supernatural, actually, though don't let that sway your choice should you not feel like sharing from that.
