*SQUEEEEEE* Love it! I really did love Marie and was totally bummed when she died, but, well, I adore Julia Stiles, and the implied past between the two of them was just an insanely yummy idea.

Oh, and so angsty delicious! It would really suck to be the only person to remember anything about that intimate of a 'relationship,' such as it was. I can imagine all kinds of future scenarios that could occur with her being on the run again.

Marie/Jason always gets me in all the right ways. They're my favourite, and I have a tendency to write pieces where Marie's memory tends to haunt him.

This though? This was the first time I've tried my hand at Nicky/Jason. It was made clear that there was *something* between the two of them, but it always seemed to me that it wouldn't be anything healthy or normal at all. It's a sick, screwed up attachment, and I think that's why she went with him.

It would suck to be the only one who remembered. She's got all this past with him and he honest-to-goodness has none with her anymore. It would hurt like hell, and I hope that came across.

And yes, it was inspired by a song: "Heatwave" by Buck 65. Love that guy, and it's such a good song.
