Getting past the security was easy, as James had told her, and she spotted him straight away. Trying to be as confident as possible, she made her way over to him and smiled. “James? I’m Maddy.”

He held out a hand to her.
"It's a pleasure, Maddy. Sorry for that brain fart moment. You just .. don't look the way I thought you were going to look." He paused, back-tracking. "In a good way, I mean -- I was expecting that stereotypical reporter, you know?"

“Um, yeah, my boss gave up trying to get me into a suit a long time ago.” She laughed at the memory of Paul trying to take her out shopping himself to no avail. “This looks like a really good arena.” She said as she looked around the area.

"You don't seem the suit-wearing type," he said, considering it. "I mean, it's not very Brooklyn to have that kind of attire, I don't think. Depending on the area you're in, I guess." He glanced around at the stadium and smiled. "Yeah, it's not bad. They're all sort of .. blending together." He looked back at her with a faint laugh. "Can I get you anything? Pellegrino? Soda?"
