I have two massively inappropriate songs.

Candyman by Christina Aguilera. I imagine this being played at all sorts of awful moments, like the kind of song you scream over, saying "hey, no, I won't sleep with you! Candyman! I totally love that song. When I first saw the opening bit of The Ghost of You video, I totally wanted to somehow mash that up with Candyman. Mainly because I wanted to see Gerard cheekily singing "he's a one-stop shop with a real big cock" as I am a CHILD and it would make me laugh like a hyena. I mean, come on, Patrick singing about oral sex = win, therefore Gee singing about boyparts = even better! Plus, you know "He had tattoos up and down his arm/There's nothing more dangerous than a boy with charm" would be about Frank! The only thing that wouldn't really work is all the warbling- I don't think Gerard would quite be able to manage a Christina-like level of "whooooo-oooo-oo-OOOO yeahhhh". And obviously the latter half of the video cos it's a bit too tragickal for cock-related shenanigans.

Although thinking about it, it is kind of annoying that in that video Mikey's playing an electric bass when it's meant to be the 1940s. I cna just about buy that electric guitars were invented by then- electric basses, no. Double bass man! It doesn't matter if he can't actually play one, it's a video, he just has to LOOK like he's playing it! [/geek]

Oh mikeyway, even when you let other people make decisions for you, you are hilariously inept. I seriously had not even considered that, though, because whenever I watch that video, I'm too busy trying to keep away the tears. THE TEARS OF LOVE, YO.

I'll tell you this: I totally cried when I first saw that video. Totally. Just... Gerard's FACE at the end, even if Mikey's acting is kind of hilariously bad. Spekaing of hilariously bad acting, have you ever seen that episode of One Tree Hill that's Pete was in? What's it like?
