Got a text from Yolla today inquiring if I was able to work 20th-24th of Feb at the Gulf Food Fest and not thinking that I probably received it much much earlier, replied a couple minutes ago in the definite... whoops, it's like five to 11, I hope I didn't wake her. I found out today that muffins and the likes are included in the bread category D:
It's all good hahah.

So farrr, I have only started on one magazine, picked at random.. the articles are as follows: The Perils of New Orleans (The issue is an '07 issue, not too long after Katrina), Maya Mysteries (<3), Hunting Narwhals, Pilgrim Cowboys & Fantastic Ants (apparently, they like to hang-glide?)
There are other little articles inbetween, but those are the main ones. I'm looking forward to the article about the Maya Mysteries and the Ants the most :D

I had to do lent for the first 18 years of my life, this year I'm rebelling haha

Basically I'm hired to promote; whether it's handing out leaflets or samples or telling someone about the product, modelling it, if need be. It's super boring work, but it always pays pretty well.

You can give up Lent for Lent? Haha. Alright, rebellion!

Thanks, yeah the crisis seems to have hit most people kinda hard. I count myself lucky that I'm in the position that I am in.
Lent's never been part of my thang either.. I'm always up for trying something new, though. I'll let you know if it's worth trying out :)

Wow, giving up bread seems tough.... like you said its involved in so many things.

Last year I have up all drinks except water and all sweets. That was difficult but bread seems harder because there's not even an alternative to that, you know? lol At least I could substitute my beverages with water. ;D

Yeah, I mean, I specifically didn't give up chocolate 'cause I wanted blackforest cake on my birthday... but apparently cake is classed as bread so no cake for Mel :(
