Work (hopefully), sweet smells & Nat Geo.. Things are good.
Got a text from Yolla today inquiring if I was able to work 20th-24th of Feb at the Gulf Food Fest and not thinking that I probably received it much much earlier, replied a couple minutes ago in the definite... whoops, it's like five to 11, I hope I didn't wake her. The last thing I need is my agent thinking I'm rude and not getting me jobs. I really, really need some work. She said if I was available she'd send over my CV, which means I haven't got the job yet. I just hope I look good on paper.
Speaking of, I really need to get some decent head & full body shots for my profile, I'm pretty sure the reason I'm not getting any jobs recently is because my picture is a self portrait with me holding the camera at arms length and everyone else's looks at least semi-professional. That's cool. I'll get it set up tomorrow and hopefully send 'em off as well.
I've decided to take part in Lent this year, giving up bread, yo. I figured I'd go small, but today was even a little difficult, it was like "what should I have for lunch? A sandw... no. A bage... no. How about a bur... no." I had a fruit salad. My family have never taken part in Lent, as far as I know. Maybe when my parents were young, but not since I've been around. I dunno why I'm trying it out now. I dunno, I guess I like the story behind it.
I got Rainforest, Seagrass and Orange & Tangerine smelling oils and sachets to burn in my room and bathroom in them oil-holding candle-holders. My room has never smelled so wonderful.
My mom bought like 30 Nat Geo magazines at some yard-sale or whatever and gave them to me. My mind has never been so excited.
