A little self-congratulatory on Cuddy's part, maybe, but I loved it anyway. Yay, wardrobes that double as secret weapons!

thanks for the constructive criticism, love!! i kind of don't understand, was it the tapestry line? the part about her seeing her reflection in the car mirror? im not being cocky, im SURE it's there, you definitely know writing. i just dont get it, i just might be stupid. BUT THANKS FOR READING ANYWAYS!!

You're not stupid! It just felt like you were trying to get really close to Cuddy's consciousness and praising her so highly at the same time and I'm not sure she thinks of herself in quite those terms: all that elegance, beauty, etc. Most women are a little insecure, and although Cuddy shouldn't be, I bet she is. But I really liked the richness of detail.

you know what? you're totally right. i can't try and mix how *I* see her and how she sees herself. totally get it, thanks so much. ill watch out for that next time.

Nice bit of insight on the way we associate memories and feelings with things like clothes.

Critically, the POV shifts oddly and partially to House in that last paragraph.

I totally get why it diverted to house at the end. All that time and thought she took to decide what to wear to look good - and you know for who. It paid off. No only did he notice her, he complemented her. I thought it was the perfect way to end the story. Don't change it!

Great detail. I could picture the whole thing in my head so vividly! Awesome job!
