IT IS ALSO FUCKING TERRIFYING. NOTHING can be guaranteed to be your own if there is such possible access to your thoughts. I mean, it's open to serious abuse. The things that people could do, the images that could be created because somebody THOUGHT them. It fucks with reality. I mean, you would obviously have to actively allow for your thoughts to be ~read~ or whatever, but people could create physical images or footage or whatever of just... anything. I can't really wrap my head around it. It's a double edged sword.

I'D KINDA LOVE BEING ABLE TO STORE MY DREAMS, THOUGH. I FORGET THEM SO FUCKING EASILY AND IT BLOWS WHEN THEY'RE PRETTY OR MEANINGFUL :(

THERE WOULD HAVE TO BE SOME SERIOUS LEVEL OF PRIVACY INVOLVED. BECAUSE OH MY GOD. YOU COULD LIKE, FAKE YOUR OWN DEATH AND RELEASE A TAPE OF IT AND NO ONE WOULD KNOW WHAT WAS REAL OR NOT. AND YOU COULD MAKE YOUR OWN TV SHOWS BECAUSE YOU COULD DREAM UP FANCY SETS AND D&G WARDROBES FOR YOURSELF. OH MY GOD, people would probably never want to wake up. I could see so many deaths and drugs for sleeping and fuck fuck. You could commit murders and destroy people's self-esteem and oh my god it's fucky. Like any technology in general, it's amazing but it scares the shit out of me. I took a computer class at Duluth and one day I cried all through lecture because he scared me so much with the theory of how we're going to make all this artificial intelligence and they're going to take us over and god god.
