A JAPANESE research team says it has created a technology that could eventually display dreams or what people have on their minds on a computer screen.
Researchers at the ATR Computational Neuroscience Laboratories succeeded in processing and displaying images directly from the human brain, they said in a study unveiled ahead of publication in the US magazine Neuron.
While the team for now has managed to reproduce only simple images from the brain, they said the technology could eventually be used to figure out dreams and other secrets inside people's minds.

AND THEN I THINK OF ALL THE DREAMS IN WHICH I'VE LIKE, FUCKING MET LISA OR CELINE AND THEN IN THE DREAM, I REALIZE IT'S NOT REAL AND THAT THE PICTURES I TOOK OF US IN THE DREAM WON'T BE REAL WHEN I WAKE UP. LIKE... FUCK I CAN'T EVEN. The could eventually be real when I wake up. And they are/were so beautiful and I want them. I will be SO depressed if this doesn't happen in my lifetime. Because oh my god. Just think of the possibilities. For everything. For art. For memories. For fucking anything, I don't even know. This is one of the most amazing theories I've ever heard. You guys I have seen SO many beautiful things in my dreams, I can't even imagine what it'd be like to have footage or caps. To scrapbook. And edit. And make gifts for people by lucid dreaming things on purpose. Like, fuck.
