SJKLDFJKHLFSA. I, LISS, AM GOING TO NEW YORK FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN ALL MY LIFE. Ever since I heard Sela Ward talking about the first time she got there, I really felt something and felt like I could completely thrive there. It seems so electric and alive and non-stop and I'm so much more at peace in places where there are other things going on

But then again, I do the same exact thing when I go other places.
You'll have a blast.

The Lisa tour sounds amazing, and don't forget to check out St. Marks place in the lower east side, that is one of the coolest places EVER.

Now, I would usually never suggest Wicked, but I know you love The Wizard of Oz and such, so I get it.
Around 45th street(unless the construction is done, then on 42nd) is a booth called TKTS. You'd have to look into eact times and such, but you can get student rush tickets, therefore half price, to pretty much every show on Broadway. I know you like RENT, but I wouldn't suggest seeing it, for a number of reasons I won't get into. Spring Awakening is new-ish and I think you would really, really enjoy it. It makes you think and has all sorts of interesting ideas behind it, but is rocking at the same time. That'd be my biggest suggestion. You might like Altar Boyz, which is off-Broadway, too.
The only other thing I can tell you is go to the East Village, go to the West Village/Greenich. You'll love it.
And have so much fun, you'll love it.

Spring Awakening sounds awesome - I love things that make me think. What's it about, in general?
YES, I WANT TO GO TO THE VILLAGE. SDJLFHA.

In short, it's about a group of 14 year olds who know nothing about sex. They're uninformed and curious, but censored and kept in the dark. But there's one kid, Melchior, who's kind of a radical and knows everything that no one else does, and he kind of...tries to teach them, and it ends sadly but teaches the characters a good lesson.
I just got really into it. But it's got the kind of edge and depth that I think you would like, and if you get a chance, I highly recomend it to you. Also, at rush, you can get seats on the stage, with the ensemble, so you're right there in all the action, I can really see you loving it.
