Ever since I heard Sela Ward talking about the first time she got there, I really felt something and felt like I could completely thrive there. It seems so electric and alive and non-stop and I'm so much more at peace in places where there are other things going on.
I was so worried I wouldn't be able to afford it because I spent a bunch of money when I went out to California, but because of THIS - the hail damage, my mom got a shit ton of money and was more willing to charge my ticket for me. SO I AM BOOKED. SDKLJFHSAJFHLAS.
I'm leaving here on July 14, at noon, and I get into Harrisburg at 5:51pm. iwant_sprinkles? GETS IN AT 6:18pm. SDLKJFSDJKHFJHKSDFA!!!!! GEMMA I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU WHEN YOU GET OFF THAT PLANE!! AND! THEN! girlie_girl_23 and sunspawn are picking us up, because Hell is coming too!! and girlie_girl_23's boyfriend, awesomepossum8 will be there also!! So it's like a reunion for us - we had SUCH fun last year, oh my god, we all got home and were depressed for weeks because we missed it so much. So it will be just like that, PLUS Gemma this time! AND NEW YORK!!
and we have tickets to Wicked!! and Matt mentioned going to Conan O'Brien but idk if that's still going! We were ALMOST going to see Aimee Mann too but it was in the wrong place or something. :( BUT WHATEVER! WE'RE GOING TO NEW YORK! AND THIS IS THE BEST EVER - WE WILL BE TOGETHER UNTIL JULY 29. So that's TWO WHOLE WEEKS TOGETHER *AND*!! XF2! WE'LL BE IN NY FOR XF2!
AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE IS IN NEW YORK? La MaMa, which is where Lisa Edelstein put on her musical, and that is one of my all-time favorite things about her. That will be some sort of religious experience, I bet. AND THE DRAG QUEEN STORE WHERE SHE WORKED WHEN SHE WAS 18 AND VOLUPTUOUS AND ALMOST SUFFOCATED IN A LATEX DRESS. AND THEY HAVE THE LIBRARY. WE HAVE TO GO TO THE LIBRARY. Oh my god I'd DIE if we could find that article from 1989, Lisa in Wonderland, IRL, with all the pictures in it. And Gemma wants to go to the Museum of Modern Art. THEY HAVE THE WARHOL PRINTS OF MARILYN MONROE. and she wants to see my face when I see them. AND WE WANT TO GO TO THE BIG TOYS R US. AND STARBUCKS. AND THE NBC STORE! and I want to have pizza in Central Park. I want to pull all-nighters. I want to make an Office fanvideo together in Tiff's room at night. I want to laugh so hard we cry. I WANT TO QUOTE FANDOM 24/7 AND NOT BE JUDGED. I want to take too many pictures. I want to sit right next to them and talk on MSN while we're all on computers and just be perfectly content with everything even though we're not physically speaking. I WANT TO WATCH AIRPORNE. I want to pull out my laptop at random-ass hotels to steal their internet when I hear there are new Lisa Edelstein photos. I want to make lots of cracked out voiceposts, I want to take walks and have a cake fight. I want to write fandom quotes all over the car.
