I told her that I'm not going to get hung up on money because I'd rather have a job that I love *gestures around studio* than a boring office job that pays more.

Congratulations! And it's so true about teaching pairs. We used to have it happen with counselling paris at camp all the time. A lot of the time, I find it depends on the situation who's the bad cop and who's the good cop.
