Vertigo was just beautiful, although I didn't quite like how quickly they started saying "i love you". like... i didnt think they knew each other well enough for that yet.

That's just how it is with old movies. When I watch old movies, I try to check my societal rules at the door. (Because if I didn't, the sexistness would drive me INSANE.) As far as falling in love goes, in old Hollywood, they fell in love before they ever even kissed. It's crazy and irrational but it's how things worked then.

North by Northwest is FABULOUS. Loooove it. I'm also going to recommend Rear Window. Most of the movie takes place in the guy's apartment, but it's awesome. Also, I'm going to tell you to see Psycho just because it's Psycho. (Also? Creepiest bad guy of ALL TIME.)

I've never seen Dial M for Murder. :(

Heh, i wasn't expecting to be in the top 10, but i am definitely stepping up my game from now on anyway :)

HAVE FUN SHOPPING. Underwear shopping is possibly the best kind of shopping ever. About every two months i go out and blow loads on new bras and knickers and pjs. And i think you suit being blonde so well, but i bet you could pull off pretty much every colour. Maybe not black, but a kind of chocolatey brown colour.

Lol i bought Bonnie and Clyde ages ago because it was on offer, and i still haven't watched it. I really should get off my ass one day and just put it on.

if you love hitchcock, see SPELLBOUND. its AMAZING. My all-time favorite hitchcock movie, and one of his most underrated films, in my opinion anyway. It starts Ingrid Bergman and Gregory Peck. fabulous.
