My madre & I made macaroni watched Vertigo and Rope todayyy. Vertigo was just beautiful, although I didn't quite like how quickly they started saying "i love you". like... i didnt think they knew each other well enough for that yet. LOVED the ironic ending. I love Hitchcock and his brilliant twists. We finished that and I was like, "OMG I WANT MORE HITCHCOCK." I wanted North By Northwest and my mom wanted Dial M for Murder, but they didn't have EITHER at the video store! WTF. but omg. ROPE. WAS STYLISTICALLY *AWESOME*. There were probably 10 or less cuts in the whole entire movie. It just flowed - it was constant camera panning the whole time. I can't imagine the skill and discipline and attention to cues that those actors had to have had. ANOTHER THING. I loved that there was NO. INTENSE MUSIC. even during fights with weapons and everything else. He used simple things, like the lead actor playing the piano faster and faster as he encountered stress, the person who's GIVING him that stress starting the metronome when he repeatedly said he hates using them. It was just brilliant really. And it all takes place in one room. It makes it such an intimate thing. Add that with the fact there's virtually NO cuts, and it actually feels like you're there with them all at this dinner party. LOVED some of the concepts and particular dialogue as well. About superior and inferior beings, good vs. bad, intelligent people and people whose lives arent worth living. it was great.

I cleaned my room today. It still looks like a disaster area, but that's only because I'm doing a GOOD clean. As in throwing-lots-of-shit-out, organizing-everything sort of clean. I've been really nostalgic lately. I flipped through my cards from Graduation, and looked at little notes from my friends in high school, and skimmed through my mems just now. I don't really know what it is.

My computer cord is still not here. We're going shopping tomorrow, my mom, sister, and I. *excited* LOL SHE SAID WE COULD BUY NEW BRAS. THERE'S THIS RED RHINESTONE-STRAPPED ONE THAT I'VE HAD MY EYE ON. My mom has to color my hair sometime soon too. I kind of like how it's growing in dark, but whenever I ask my friends, they say they like me as a blonde. I've been told I have stereotypical personality aspects of EVERY hair color, so I thought this change might be nice but IDK IDK IDK. Should I get it lighter?

OH AND ALSO. Bonnie & Clyde came in our Netflix today. kjshdaf i havent seen this movie yet, I AM SO EXCITED. I'm basically gonna go watch that now and then probably go to bed. I am being such a movie whore this summer. GOOD. I'm looking at it as an investment. "You want to be involved in film? GET AS MUCH OF IT AS YOU CAN. Watch as many movies as you can, because whether you know it or not, you'll learn something from each of them. What works, and what doesn't." - my old photography teacher.

MY LIFE IS SO BORING. I HAVE NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT. I AM SO SORRY. I mainly wanted to do comment stats and talk about Hitchcock. lol.
