The thing about LJ is I feel I have to be doggedly persistent and active. The more of us who feel like we're only blogging in an empty room, the more people will leave. That is why I haven't left LJ, I still read blogs every day, and comment when I can, because otherwise, more people might leave. And I desperately want to maintain the culture and support of my LJ friends, for as long as possible.
