i. I DYED MY HAIR YESTERDAY. IT'S NOW LIKE, LEGIT BROWN THAT SHIMMERS A LITTLE RED-LIKE IN THE LIGHT. I've never not been a blonde, you guys, it's weird but I actually like it. I've been making a conscious effort to take better care of my hair, i.e. have it not be dry and breaking at the ends, okay. Dark color is far less damaging and it's also ( Read more... )

I want to see your new hairs!

Also, the 14-year-old in me is really excited about you seeing Wicked. And the now-me, too. But mostly the 14-year-old me.

Yay for shopping and pizza and marathoning Dance Moms with your mom :) And awww, that's so sweet that that woman asked you to take her picture and that it made her day! I love that so much ♥

Heh, everyone wants to talk about Wicked. Have you not seen it before? I love Wicked so hard.

Blue hair - pics?

One of my friends had blue hair for a couple of years, at least - for a long time it was this gorgeous multi-color shade, mostly blue with green and purple high- and low-lights. It was peacock-colored, really, and it was stunning. I've never had the guts for color that unusual, but then, I'm also afraid that my hair wouldn't stand for it, as it's very fine. It's turning rather white lately too - I wish it would just hurry up and go, I'd have no problem rocking some pure white hair.

I don't recall my friend worrying much about damage - she always had it professionally done, and from the pics I saw, it generally looked great - soft and healthy. I mean, technically it's damaging - you are stripping the color out of it. But I'm guessing that it can be done safely and well.

I saw it in NY a few years ago, oh my god I loved it so much. I'm seeing it in ~Iowa~ this time so it probably won't be AS good, but hey, I mean, whatever it's Wicked.

Blue hair - this is why I love having a blog.

THAT HAIR SOUNDS GORGEOUS. I WANT IT. I wish my hair didn't damage so easily (mine is so fine too, it sucks) because I'd be coloring my hair different all the time.

My mom used to be a cosmetologist so she uses the same chemicals and procedures you'd get in a salon, but yeah I think it's because my hair is so TINY AND FRAIL.

Ohhhh, just the back! That's awesome! Such a delightful 'peek' from the front.

Heh, I totally forgot that I can link you up with my friend's pics. Here

Strangely, I couldn't find the pics I was thinking of (some self-shots right after coloring, where the light hits it beautifully), but this set should give you the idea.

Ha - found them.
Blue
Green
downright Purple (my fave)
a bit muted

PICS! PICS!!

ALSO WHERE ARE YOU SEEING WICKED? I AM SO EXCITED, I SAW IT THREE TIMES OKAY.

I thought of you the other day by the way, because in my Non-Linear Editing class someone made a montage using SYTYCD footage and it was something that you would do.
