i. I DYED MY HAIR YESTERDAY. IT'S NOW LIKE, LEGIT BROWN THAT SHIMMERS A LITTLE RED-LIKE IN THE LIGHT. I've never not been a blonde, you guys, it's weird but I actually like it. I've been making a conscious effort to take better care of my hair, i.e. have it not be dry and breaking at the ends, okay. Dark color is far less damaging and it's also less maintenance. When summer comes again, I'll probably go back. I REALLY MISS HAVING BLUE HAIR BUT MY MOM SAYS THAT IS THE MOST DAMAGING OF ALL BC YOU HAVE TO BLEACH IT FIRST.
ii. I had such a wonderful day with my mom. I called in sick because, you know, whatever - if I were an actual employee I'd have ~PTO~ and ~sick days~ anyway. I'm over it and sick of being walked on, so. I had a realization for the first time in about 7 months - this is my life, lol. I was going to watch the Big C and go back to bed to sleep in but then I obviously could not sleep. My mom came over and we went shopping - I had an odd affinity for jewelry. I need a jewelry box. I got a few tops too, but we had so much fun. Then we came back, ordered a pizza, and then laid in bed and marathoned Dance Moms. OMG YOU GUYS THIS SHOW IS LIKE CRACK. I literally COULD NOT STOP WATCHING last night, I was up until 2 and the only reason I stopped was because I had no more downloaded and the next one was taking like 45 minutes.
iii. I made a judgment call and snuck out of work to do a shoot today. I regret nothing. It was so beautiful outside today, you guys, and it hit me, again, how fucking happy I am when I do this. It is literally a perfect job - I can sleep in, I can wear jeans, I don't have to work with anybody I don't want to, I get Liss!time when I do it, I mean, goddamn. I was taking exteriors and some woman pulled over on the road and waved at me. I was confused because her windows were tinted, but I went over there and she asked if I'd take a picture of her under a golden tree. ♥ "I have a camera!" she says. But I take them on mine because, duh, and she was SO sweet, you guys. She was so genuinely grateful even though it's no trouble at all. She even asked how much I charge. Seriously, it's no trouble! I just took a few. She kept telling me how pretty and nice I was and how she can't believe how perfect it was that I was there and that I made her day. She was so interesting, she decided recently that she'd like to try to get into modeling, this tiny Indian woman, it was sort of really cool - I love shit like that, I LIVE ON IT.
iv. DID I TELL YOU I'M GOING TO SEE WICKED. BECAUSE I AM. IN NOVEMBER.
