Autumn

Long time no post (here, at least; more active in aldersprig lately).

It's a lovely autumn, and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. Yesterday, we went to a couple wineries on Seneca Lake (there's about a zillion, but we only stopped at two): Penugin Bay and Red Newt. Lovely drive, lovely wines ( Read more... )

It turns out I have lost about 20 pounds in the past five months. Which is great.

Writing inches along, although most of this weekend was spent not writing and looking for my notes (which turned out to be less cool than I remembered them being).

I'm also trying out some new hobby stuff, and working on a Halloween costume (which I have managed to sew wrong, in spite of reading the directions twice).

Road-tripping with a friend to Old Orchard Beach Halloween weekend for Sharon Lee's book release party. I've never been there, so it should be fun.

I was surprised by the 20 lbs. Though the Wii may not be accurate - I plan to compare it to my doctor's scale. Still, I'm pretty happy.

New hobby stuff is possibly the oldest hobby I've had - dolls. I'd forgotten how I used to turn them into characters. It's a bit silly, but fun. And relaxing.

Dolls? *Curious*

Are your clothes fitting more nicely again?

I'm management now. I work, play games, hang out with the girl, and enjoy my new car as much as I can.

Glad to hear you're doing well... We should do lunch or something sometime.

Be well.

Was without internet when I moved out of Goblin Haus. The pirated internet locked their net down and I had no internet. Always existed... just not in cyberspace.

Anyways, glad you're doing well on the writing and the like. Is good to know friends are doing well with what they like to do.

Thanks for the grats. Be well.
