*hugs* I have had that feeling many times. Where everything is going well, and I should be happy, but am not. I do not know why the feeling exists. Maybe you should blame the weather...or the air in NY. *shrugs* I enjoy reading your posts, you write/use the english language very well.

yes, you amuse me greatly. :) thanks.

I don't know why you get those feelings.

After a really great weekend I get depressed that the weekend is over and I have to get back to work or school.

I know that only addressed some of it.

*hugs*

Control?
While I'm forced to admit that, with my wife, my body couldn't keep up with my imagination anyway ;) , I still wish it didn't seem like affection were such a political football...

Political football? Do please clarify?

And, yes, control probably does play a large part in it. It almost always has with me.

It just seems that the minor distractions of the little picture crowd out the important aspects of the big picture, the fact that she and I are indeed quite happily married.
The important stuff seems taken for granted in the (sometimes artificial) stresses of the two-career family.

It's weird to sacrifice that kind of interaction.
Sometimes when I think about that, I end up in kind of an awkward mood, like I'm still a sadly self conscious (self centered?) teenager. Luckily, my husband/roomies have a knack for distracting me altogether.
