I read through old entries and found a reference to some recipe i made a long time ago that apparently I loved... man, I wish I knew where I got that one. I need something easy & proven good to cook for company this weekend.

In one week from today, I am getting married. Reality definitely has not sunk in, despite all the busy wedding planning. By the way, I had no idea that weddings were SO much work. The gun show was ... .interesting. Definitely a unique experience. Nothing quite like being surrounded by several thousand redneck camoflauge clad armed males. The weekend in Boone was good... not particularly relaxing, but it was good to see family. I really do love my family, but sometimes they make me crazy. I told my dad and youngest brother at lunch on Sunday that I prefer them separately to together. I enjoy talking to my dad... fun picture from my whitewater rafting trip... I wanted them to pose for a picture and right as I took this, the spoon fell off of Rich's nose and in his attempt to catch it, he threw his ice cream.... you can see the pieces flying across the screen. Also note the spoon falling in mid-air.
