Start at the hospital tomorrow!

Applied for a CNA position on the rehab floor at my local hospital. Interview yesterday at 3pm. Went really well. She ended up giving me a tour of the rehab center and introducing me to staff. Steve and I are thinking of getting a pair of ducks to raise for eggs. I had a pet Mallard drake in high school named Oliver. We would need to build a shelter, etc. so we are still thinking. It would be nice but then I think a lot of work as well.

Casey is sick :( Took her to the vet yesterday with bloody stool and vomit. She came home today after she finally kept some food down. Official diagnosis was hemorrhagic gastroenteritis caused by some unknown virus. She was so dehydrated they couldn't even get an IV in her as her veins were too constricted. With tonight's news that Osama bin Laden was killed I feel like my friend Nick who died serving our country is now vindicated. He was the only one of his group to make it out of Iraq alive after an IED went off while they were patrolling. He made it to Rammstein and then even to Walter Reed in Washington DC. Our flight leaves at 11:55 tonight to Atlanta-Orlando-Key West. We get married the day after tomorrow. I plan on bringing a notebook so I can journal our trip and hopefully post it here when we get back. Pretty exciting but I am also nervous. I don't like to fly on the big jets so much.
