True, but they usually choose a textile covered surface. Now only the floor felt cold enough...

I hope so. Even if yesterday was supposed to be the last overhot day, today it's the same...

We've experienced a very hot summer, with no rains since the end of May. We had a break from the heat the week before, when we got reasonable temperatures of 30-32 C, but now it's back to 40C. It's just horrible and it seems that we have to get used to that for the next years.

40c is an acceptable summer temperature over here in Perth, but I can imagine how hot it must seem in Romania. It seems 'odd' that it is so hot over there...it's the weather all over the world getting out of whack. And there are still people who don't believe in climate change :((

We have just had the driest July on record, we have to start getting used to even less rainfall than we used to get.

Here the weather has changed visibly. The differences between summer and winter temperatures have increased a lot. We had the biggest snow in years this February, now we have the hottest summer too. As for rain, in my area the summer drought has become something yearly. This year it was more severe, of course. I think people should start thinking about changing the traditional crops for ones that are better suited to the new conditions.
