It's been so cold here lately, that the central heating doesn't do much good anymore. We used an electrical heater in addition and the cats were thrilled!

Zum Glueck gibt es hier keine streunenden Hunde und Katzen. Aber an die Obdachlosen darf ich garnicht denken:(
Heute ist es hier auch wieder sehr kalt. Aber -22 Grad hatten wir nicht. Ich warte so sehr auf den Fruehling.

Still no monitor - I brought my camera (and the cable) at work. Now if only I could get a pic of hot Edi...

Now seriously, all I want is to know my mother is back to normal and can have her dialysis normally again, without always worrying about the catheters not working. Then I will think of monitors and anything else. If I have any money left...

because at the hospital there are two people in the same bed

that's pretty mind blowing O_O

There are 7 beds in that hospital room and my mom's the 8th patient. Last week she stayed in a men's hospital room, for lack of space. Nephrology only has two rooms in that hospital - and there are always more patients than beds. Other sections, on the same floor (like gastrology) have their rooms empty. Great management!

There are worse things happening in Romanian hospitals than having 2 people in the same bed. Unfortunately. Since my mother's been ill, I've lived in constant fear of what can get wrong and how the incompetence and indifference of the doctors and nurses can affect her.

That is SO adorable. I love kitties♥♥♥ Mine would rather snuggle up to the devil for warmth than me. Anyone else? No problem. Me? Hell no.
