This was just awesome. I'm sorry I didn't read it earlier - in the middle of exam rush - but I saw it, bookmarked it and eagerly looked forward to it.

Anyhow.

I just loved this. From the references to RPGs (lol 'Harilan the Paladin') to Claude's grumbling and dislike of the outdoors, to Bennet's totally calm I-have-a-plan attitude. Just great.

Anyway, very awesome fic. Hilariously accurate Claude-voice, nice action, and D&D references for the ultimate win (what class would Bennet play as? Bet it'd be something uber-twinky)!

Also “No one touches a rookie under my watch." instantly translated to 'Nobody puts rookie in the corner!' in my slightly disturbed mind.

Any chance of a sequel, with groggy groping vengeance? *undignified puppy eyes*
