Edward killed lots of murderers and rapists in his rebellious period.

Yeah, he did, I really would have loved if Smeyer had done more of a back story on Edward, so we could have learned more about his past, his parents, and backround.

For me the bits of Edward's rebellious stage from If Love Could Light a Candle is nearly EXACTLY what I imagine that stage of Edward's life to be. It's so perfect.

WORD.

I think that may be my favourite scene out of the entire series.

I watched the movie then got into the books after and then I realised how much of the good stuff they missed out in the film.

I'm a huge Carlisle fan. Love him. Such a shame he didn't get his backstory into the movie.

I feel the same! His story is sooo fascinating and complex. I'd love to read his story- about making hard decisions and finding Esme! I adore Carlisle :)

Yes! And honestly, I didn't start loving him until after "Stitches." That chapter is so brilliant. And it's in the movie wheeeeeee!

These chapters were brilliant once again. I really loved the end of Twilight. I went through so many different emotions reading the last few chapters of this book.

Edward and Bella in the Cullen house, talkign about Carlisle was one of my favourite moments. I just love Alice's "It sounded like you were having Bella for lunch" line.

And in these chapters, we get to hear about Edward's 'rebellious years', Esme's suicide and Carlisle's story, and I loved them all. The characters' pasts are some of my favourite parts of the books and I was so disappointed not to hear about them in the film

~ I agree. At least we get a glimpse in New moon? (correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 100% sure they're doing Carlisle flashbacks)
