As someone who has been in the 'crappy family' camp for most of her life (and is still kind of there, in some ways), I know just how much damage it can do to the psyche. I watch Glen with his family, and I hear about you with yours, and I can't help but wonder how differently I'd be now, if my family circumstances had been different when I was growing up.

Also, you are a total champ.
