Thank you to everyone for you kind words, both of congratulations and condolences. It's been a tough week. The wake was held on thursday, and to be honest I didn't handle it well. I walked in, started sobbing, and had to walk out again. My friend Aris came out to talk to me (and lend me tissues) and helped me pull myself together enough to go in

Thanks! Yes, I'm fine. Today I even did some work (artistically speaking that is.) I'm going to start calling it work now (as in: "leave mommy alone now kids, I'm working") Makes it a bit more serious.
I'm working on a drawing of my nice feeding a horse. If the finished charcoal rendering comes out good, I might give it to her when she gets married (this May), but I'm not sure how good it's going to be, the photo I'm working from isn't very good.
Anyway, now that the kids will be heading back to school, I think things may be much better around here. ;)
